[local] attribute on a procedure requires /ms_ext The [ local ] attribute is a Microsoft extension to DCE IDL. To use this attribute on a function, you cannot compile with the /osf switch. The /osf switch overrides the MIDL compiler default switches /ms_ext and /c_ext .
